 After reviewing my classmates' digital poster and the feedback comments left on my work, I have gained many new ideas and perspectives. It is amazing how everyone uses their artistic talent in a different way. Seeing different perspectives and ideas really influences me to continue to improve. Self doubt is the topic that challenged me the most when creating my figurative language. This is because it required me to reflect on times that I was looked down upon. My reflection made me realize that without these experience I wouldn't be where I am today.  Summary: Today we made our digital poster. Reflection: I bettered my understanding of figurative language and graphic design skills.

 I learned many things about myself while writing my figurative language. I learned more about my past, and who I am today. I realized how much my past plays into the present day. The metaphors and similes that I made required me to reflect on my past struggles, growths and resilience in a way that I hadn't thought of before. Summary: Today in class we made 12 similes and metaphors in total. Reflection: I bettered my figurative language understanding and composition.

 Over break I went to the beach with my buddy Jack. We played a lot of music together and had a great time. It was also my first time going to a Mardi gras parade, it was super fun! I went home for the second half of break and played basketball and hung out with friends. Overall, my February Break was great! Reflection: I bettered my not taking. Summary: Today in class we took notes.

 If I had to describe how I show love using only three objects it would be music, food, and nature. All of these things are near to me and bring out the way I express love. Music represents my love for listening and playing music, nature represents my love for camping, hikes, fishing and so much more, food represents my love for sitting down with a person and getting to know them, often involving food. Reflection: Today we wrote a poem to one of our parents for valentines day. Summary: I bettered my understanding of how to construct a poem.

 After completing my rhetorical analysis essay, I feel much more confident as a writer. This experience has boosted my confidence as a writer. I would say that I am ready to continue analyzing complex speeches and texts in American Lit. Overall I am glad to have had this experience as a writer and it will definitely help me in the future. Summary: Today I wrote my rhetorical analysis essay. Reflection: I bettered my understanding of how to explain my evidence within a rhetorical analysis essay.

One step of the rhetorical analysis planning that helped me understand the process better is understanding rhetorical situation. By better understanding this step I learned to better understand the context of rhetoric, which helps me better understand its usage as well. Understanding rhetorical analysis has helped me better understand rhetoric and makes the rhetorical analysis process much easier. Summary: Today we went over the steps in a rhetorical analysis. Reflection: I bettered my knowledge on how to construct a rhetorical analysis.
